I'm using Combivent Respimat inhaler spray but the dosage is 4 puffs per day, which is not enough. I experience tightness in my chest and shortness of breath after 2 1/2 to 3 hours. So I was hoping I could use the Asmanefrin between the 4 daily doses when I do get too uncomfortable and short of breath.
A few things here, were you shown how to use the inhaler correctly and do you use a spacer? I find that about 90% of people do not use them correctly so you don't get the full dose. Asthmanefrin would make an appropriate "rescue inhaler" however you need to talk to your doc about it and not self medicate.
