My thyroid was removed several years ago because of thyroid cancer. My prescription is for, alternating days, 60 and 90 mg. I feel horribly exhausted all the time and cannot lose any weight even if I eat almost nothing, I am actually gaining weight. I recently read that the normal dosage for someone with hypothyroidism is 3 to 5 grains of Armor Thyroid. I looked up the conversion and my dosage is way below that, and I have no thyroid. Should I find a specialist? Right now daily life is just such a struggle
Heck yes go see a endocrinologist and let them check that out be aggressive when it comes to your health. I have hypothyroidism and I am very aggressive when it comes to this issue. I don't have time to be laying around tired and what not because of a thyroid condition. You beat cancer see a doctor and live your life to the fullest baby!
