Monky,
No there are not. Xanax is an antianxiety medication; Zoloft is an antidepressant.

Xanax is belonged to a group called benzodiazapines used to treat anxiety or panic, this is fast actng medication where as zoloft is an anti-depressant but also may be used for anxiety but takes up to 4 to 6weeks to builds in your system before you notice any changes in your condition

If your doctor has not explained to you the differences between these two types of meds, I'd talk to a pharmacist or your doctor cause they really are extremely different acting drugs, each with their pros and cons. The Xanax actually slows the central nervous system down where as the antidepressant changes the actual chemistry within the brain.
Hope that this is of some help!
