I don't want to feel pain and cold sweats (withdrawal) if i stop taking subutex.
Dear Lyssa, hello and welcome to the site. I have my taper plan listed in my profile story, if you click my avatar, read it, it has tips that I used to help. It is a slow taper, but I came off withdrawal-free and I will celebrate 1 year off tomorrow, no relapse, no withdrawal. I am texting by phone, so am trying to give you hope, but also keep this short as texting answers takes longer than using a PC. It often corrects spelling when it shouldn't, so forgive any spelling mistakes, I actually am literate. Have you told your dr and counselor you want to taper off, if not, please do, you really need their blessing too. Long story short, many people get off and are fine, but they seldom tell anyone or write sites like this saying they are fine. Used2be, ski801 and UNLVGRAD have all been successful getting off of it too, read their profile stories too.patti
