I'm not sure about the "E 44" mark on the one side, but the ones I take have a logo and "594" on the back-side, and scored 4-way on the front. Although it is available as a generic drug, the ones I am prescribed are called "Zanaflex ©"... Bear in mind that I reside in Canada. I know that this particular medication is also available in the U.S.A., but the tablets may have different markings and/or trademarks, depending on the manufacturer...

I think they have changed the 2nd side of the pill since that image was taken as the discription I have is as follows:
Tizanidine Hydrochloride Tablets, 4 mg (base) are supplied as white, round, flat faced, beveled edge, debossed “E” over “44” on one side and quadrisected on the other side
