Yes and no. Yes, they are both antidepressants. No, because Lexapro is used for major depressive disorder and generalized anxiety disorder (GAD) while Zoloft is used for panic disorder, posttraumatic stress disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and sociel anxiety disorder.
