I am currently taking 10mg Diazepam manufactured by Mylan, for muscle spasms, insomnia and chronic migraine headaches w/anxiety. I have noticed no response whatsoever from this particular medication. I am not tired, relaxed, nor does it help w/ my headaches or anxiety. Has anyone else had this lack of response with Diazepam produced by this manufacturer. It seems (I can't remember for sure) that I have taken Valium or Diazepam at my dentist's office and felt a much different feeling. Maybe just different brand?
I have used Mylan products for both anxiety and pain, and found them considerably weaker than other generics. Actavis and Teva make good diazepam which works a lot better, but Terapia and Apaurin are by far the strongest and most effective I have tried.
Generics are supposed to all be the same, containing the given amount of the active ingredient, but I find big differences between them. Similarly with alprazolam, my preferred drug for anxiety problems, the Argentinian Alplax and Serbian Ksalol are much better and stronger than the brand name Xanax. Different generics certainly do have different effects, Mylan being on of he least effective I have tried.
