I have recently switched from a generic brand of yaz, everything seems fine and I haven't skipped a pill, however, I did have sex so I'm not sure if the difference in discharged is from the new pill or pregnancy.
I Qwerty, & welcome to the site. I don't know the correct answer to your question about the different type of birth control, but any new discharge could be a result of an infection. If it is bothersome, or you itch, you should have your doctor rule out what it is. It could be yeast, but if it's the first time you have ever had this, your doctor needs to check it under a microscope first to determine what kind of infection if it is an infection, & give you the correct meds to get rid of it. Just my thoughts. If you think you could be pregnant, a simple home pregnancy test should confirm this...
