I am a 57 year old male, looking for other people that suffer from this disease, to chat with or email. I'm going in for surgery this Monday to have a pain-pump implant. I just finished the trail steps. Well, I could go on and on about this, but I won't. I don't even know if anyone will read this and write back. I will look forward to any type of correspondence.
I also have this problem, however mine was caused by idiopathic guillian' Barre' syndrom I had no periphial lining on my nerves. You may want to check to see if you happen to have cidp, millers fishers syndrome, and possibly MS
I know I feel as I am either have my fingers in a light socket or else my body goes into a burning sensation which I am in horrid pain. noone can touch me.
I will add you to my friends list please add me
have a pain free day
Hi! I am a 48 yr old female suffering from idiopathic progressive polyneuropathy. I haven't gotten to the pain pump stage yet... so sorry to hear that. Mine has progressed significantly in the last 6 months. This time last year I was able to walk, but in a lot of pain. I was only taking handfuls of motrin to control it, but that ended me up in the hospital with 3 bleeding ulcers.
I am so frustrated daily with how hard each tiny task is: putting on shoes, pulling my pants up after using the bathroom, I'm sure you know.
Hope your surgery went well. I'm here to talk.
