has anyone compared the 2--- against each other --to see if they are equally as good or is one more effective even though they are both Watson--would order brand name Watson Norco but was told they make there generic Norco and it is same --- HELP--- thank you
Hydrocodone is hydrocodone. Legally generic drugs are required to have the same basic formula as brand name. There could be a SMALL difference in the inactive ingredients between the two. That is why you may see a different color. I know some people totally disagree with me, Everyone is entitled to his or her opinion. For 2 cents worth, that is my opinion. One of the reasons that generics are less expensive is that there is no investment required & the cost for the manufacturer is much less. Hope this at least gives you some idea.
Yes these are the same you have the same amount of Hydrocodone and acetaminophen and both are made by watson the difference is price I don't even think the binders would make any difference on this one because they are both made by Watson. Chuck1957 medically retired Pharmacy Technician Cpht.
