ive just spoken to two different pharmacies and they are both telling me that tri-nessa wont be available anymore... they switched me to tri-sprintec last month and i have NEVER experienced such horrible heartburn from a birth control pill (i've been taking birth control for 17 years). i'll be very sad if tri-nessa is discontinued, i will have no choice but to take the brand name ortho tri cyclen. does anyone know anything?
Are you sure nothing else is wrong? Tri nessa and Tri sprintec are the exact same medications with the exact same amounts of each. I would be greatly surprised if they weren't making it, didn't find anything on the FDA site. I would not be surprised if their supplier is limiting the number of different types they carry, since it seems every drug company makes their own brand, and many are identical. I would find the manufacturers website and get contact info, and call them and ask if they are discontinuing it.
