Here's what happened, I was prescribed 10mg of generic Adderall and they were made by Barr and were blue in the shape of an oval. Those worked fine. Although I had taken that amount for a while, I had gotten a little tolerant to them. My doc said he could up the dose to a 15mg tablet. The 15mg tablet is a little round peach/orange colored pill, and I feel like I'm taking a sugar pill. It's not even as strong as the 10mg pill that I was taking. Has anyone else had this experience?
I currently am prescribed 2 of the 30 mg per day. I used to be prescribed 70 mg of Vyvanse and it felt like it had stopped working so then I switched to the Adderall. I found out after the fact that I actually was suffering from a low thyroid condition when I thought that the Vyvanse had stopped working for me. my meds come in the form of a capsule and sometimes I do wonder if someone at the pharmacy dumped the contents and put something else in. it just seems like they are so hit or miss when they work or don't work. I do believe that sometimes it is due to me not taking my thyroid medication right though, so I hope that helps. Good luck and keep me posted
