I keep seeing articles, etc about gabapentin causing weight gain. Most, if not all, focus on people taking it for epilepsy, restless leg, neuropathy, etc. I'm just curious if it has the same effect on people who are taking it to cut down/quit alcohol. I would think that if one reduced their alcohol consumption, they would be reducing their calorie intake and maybe weight gain isn't as prevalent. Does anyone have experience?
