... already lost a total of 34 lbs. I was 238 lbs starting out with qsymia in June of this year and I just recentely hit a plateau. My Dr has me on the 7.59 mg and doesn't want to move me up to a higher dosage so instead he suggested to take the contrave. I was just concerned with switching how this might effect me. Then I also thought about once this months worth of pills are gone to just stop and try to lose the rest of the weight on my own, but then again I am afraid to gain my weight back that I already lost. I mean it is only 30 more lbs and I am young, active, and healthy with no medical problems. Any suggestions? It would help please
I went from Contrave to Qsymia after Contrave almost caused a mental breakdown in me. Contrave has wellbutrine in it and it caused very bad side effects in me. I'd stay on Qsymia personally, I lost 70lbs and it saved my life. I've stalled unfortunately and will have to check with the doc to see what her recommendation will be since I'm on the highest dose they make with no results. But Contrave would, in my opinion, be a bad idea for me if it was me making the decision.
