I have a tear in the labrum of my right hip. The labrum is 60% torn. Im trying to find anyone that has had this same problem repaired by scope? I've been dealing with this pain for eight months, sleeping a hour or two at night at a time. Im ready for a change. Im physically and emotionally worn out!!! Any info would be great!!! Thanks
I had the surgery done 4 1/2 years ago. After for the 1st 6 weeks I was on crutches and could put 50% of my weight on the leg. Then I went back to work with both crutches (full weight bearing) for a week, then using one crutch for a week, then my cane for another 3 to 4 weeks. For a few weeks after surgery I had a machine that would slowly move my hip 3 times a day. Then I did physical therapy for another 6 weeks. I felt like a new person after it all. It was a lot to go through, but definitely worth it.
