I have been taking Aciphex for about 8 years to treat GERD. My employer health insurance has paid for it with preauthorization required. My current insurance won't pay for it, and I requested preauthorization from TRICARE - but was rejected. I have tried the alternatives, with bad results - reflux symtoms returned and very upset stomach - prevented me from going to work. I don't want to get sick again, so if TRICARE won't cover it, will explore getting it from Canada as some reviewers have done.
Yes, I would try that. I just got accepted for Medicare disability. I am having the same problem with several of my meds also. They are both government run, so they try to find a cheaper alternative. And alot of times, they don't work. I know one of the alternatives they suggested is so totally different than the one I have been in for many years. And some times complete denial can put a person's health at risk. Go online, there are several pharmacies that are perfectly safe. One member pointed out that ordering from Canada, they get their meds from India. So even buying direct from India gave me more options. Try looking around at them all, and I am sure you will have some luck. Right now this country is in a horrible state, so anything the government has their hands in, is gonna be a pain!!! So best of luck. Hope you are successful!!! Have a Happy Easter. Bless. L
