I had my blood tests done and found I was deficient in Vitamin D with a level of 19. I've read that anything above 30 is good but 40-60 is ideal. I cannot take more than 1000 IU Vitamin D orally without experiencing side effects (most likely due to Magnesium deficiency). I have read that the topical application of D3 can be more effective and have different peak times. Has anyone had any success with topical D3 - have your levels increased and have you experienced any side effects?
I am currently using AnuMed's 10,000 IU D3 lotion.
