I use Advair 250/50 twice/day, Incruse Ellipta once a day (replaced my Spiriva when insurance stopped covering it) and Ventolin or Combivent Respimat as a rescue inhaler when necessary (but no more than every 4-6 hrs). These are all fine.
However, I was also doing a neb treatment every 4 hours per Dr orders. This got me into trouble: ipratropium bromide poisoning. A new pulmo found the problem and got me back on track. I still use a nebulizer, but only if my chest is tight. I am coming out of a flare-up right now, & I have been nebbing about 3 times a day at the worst of it. I will cut to two... then just one before bed... then none unless tight.
