... or filter out like most meds?
Apriso (mesalamine) is used to treat and prevent ulcerative colitis (an inflammatory bowel disease). It works inside the intestine (bowel) to reduce inflammation and other symptoms of the disease.
What side effects are you experiencing?
Abdominal or stomach pain (severe), bloody diarrhea or rectal bleeding are more common serious side effects that require immediate medical attention.
Less common side effects include burping, cough, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, gas, headache and sinus congestion.
Side effects can appear after a long period of time especially if there is a problem with the drugs metabolism or elimination, or if the dosage is too high. Best to check with your doctor.
