I read an article last week about a study that was done, and then published in the Journal Of Neurology as well as Pub-Med. It reported some very positive results for Tinnitus sufferers, when they took Clonazepam (Klonopin). They reported that 79% said the volume of their Tinnitus decreased, and their scores on the TDI were also 68% improved (TDI is the Tinnitus Disability Index).
Hi again DeepBreath,
Most benzodiazepines (such as Xanax, Valium, etc.) are widely used and work well for Tinnitus sufferers. I would think you'd get some relief from this annoying disorder if you began Klonopin. It's certainly worth a try!
I wish you the best and hope you come back to report your findings with klonopin.
