I can't say absolutely definitively but I checked out a US Spina Bifida site and it said that, Schein and West-Ward are definitely gluten free and that the Qualitest product "seems to be gluten free".
Qualitest says this about the product: "Folic Acid Tablets, USP 1 mg contain the following inactive ingredients: lactose monohydrate, microcrystalline cellulose, sodium starch glycolate (from potato) and stearic acid."
As this constitutes all the ingredients other than folic acid I would say they have no gluten. The Alphapharm Folic Acid product I take is gluten free (advertised on container) and is also a very cheap generic (~$5/100)
