The only way I can think of that that could happen is if you're not able to empty your bladder all the way while taking fioricet. The drug itself wouldn't cause it.
U probably will not like this answer but after suffering UTI's for the better part of forty years and after meditating for nearly as long, I learned/saw that sex was the cause of these infections. U have to give up all sexual activity in order to get well, or rather RESPONDING to the sexual activity including self pleasuring etc. It is a strain on the organs that were not meant to be abused for pleasure this way. It's like a fat guy having to give up eating to lose weight. Or an alcoholic giving up booze to get well. Or a diabetic having to give up sugar. No one wants to do it/believe it. But do U want to get well? I, too, thought it was all these drugs at one time and it is true they can contribute to urinary retention. But they are not the cause. Sorry, but this is the straight scoop.
