I know you are supposed to have light spotting between periods and a light period but what about not having a period at all?
I was on Mirena for about 6 months and it completely took my period away. Some people it does this to from what I understand. My body didn't agree with it, so I had to have it removed. My cousin did get pregnant on it but only because the darn thing slipped and started to fall out (I know, sounds horrible). Good luck!
No birth control is 100% effective. That is just the facts. Didn't your doctor tell you about the side effects you might experience while using Mirena. There are even commercials on the boob tube about it.
Just saying, less bleeding and no bleeding ate a common side effect. Actually some women find that nice.

Hi danim0718. Ive had mine for years and so far so good. I can months with out my period. The first year i would worrie alot sometime i would end up at the drug store for a pregnancy test always came back negative. Its suposed to be 99.9 % effective. If you have concerns go and buy a test that will help. For mme its a big plus when i go months without a period my nomal periods where heavy and baf cramps. Hope this helps
