... take extra buspar? Last time I had a bad episode, used alcohol to relax me and it became a problem, dont want this to happen again. It was devastating, I became very suicidal. Just have that really uneasy feeling like something is wrong!
Hi, welcome to the site! Sorry you are having a tough time right now. I don't know what dose of Buspar you are currently prescribed? The 'usual' dose is 20 - 30 mg daily, divided throughout the day. You really should give your doctor or psychiatrist a call to ask about dosing recommendations and to discuss how you are feeling at the moment, see what advice they can give you... I am happy to chat with you if you like? I also suffer with depression, anxiety & BPD, among other things. Wishing you well
Taking an extra BuSpar now and then isn't really going to help. It has to reach a steady state in your system to work effectively. I would talk to the doc and let them know of your continued symptoms. Maybe an adjustment in dosage can be made or trying something else if the BuSpar isn't working.
