Has anyone ever taken Neudexta for hiccups?

I had chronic hiccups for 3-days straight, I thought I was going to lose my mind, nothing would help, finally, the Dr (this is true) got a hunk of gauze, grabbed my tongue and pulled with steady pressure, I thought my throat was going to turn inside out, but it worked. The is a muscle reflex (that's why when they're mild, holding your breath to break the cycle often works). My case was extreme, he did some research and warned me I might think he was nuts before he did it, but at that point I was nearing insanity anyway. Do not try this yourself, a Dr who has boned up on the procedure is the only one qualified, but again, believe me it worked.
