I am interested in any treatment and medications you have found successful and what type of doctor you've found who is familiar with the disease.
I have erosive lichen planus in my mouth, as well as lichen planus lesions on my arms, legs and body. I have had numerous endoscopes because I have strictures in my esophagus that makes swallowing very difficult. The first scope showed ulceration from the back of the throat all the way to my stomach. It has never gotten any better. My dermatologist and oral surgeon diagnosed me with LP and errosive lichen planus. At this time I don't have a positive diagnosis and no treatment for my esophagus. Not exactly what you were wanting to hear, but this has been an ongoing battle. Are you being treated?
