Second shot of prolia. Feels like my knee needs to be replaced. Hurts all of the time. Worse on right knee. Some pain on left knee.
To Michelle Harvey, You should ice your knees for about 15 minutes at a time. Don't do more than that or the body doesn't react well. I also fell on my knees last June. There were terrible bruises and some scraping of them afterwards, but then about 4 days later, my ankles and feet swelled up immensely. My physical therapist said that that was from the blood settling in lower. Then after walking too much a couple weeks later, I got numbness on the bottom of my one foot. After a couple months of still having knee pain, I finally succumbed to physical therapy. After still having pain 5 months later, my physical therapist told me that the fall damaging the patella nerves can take a long time to heal. Good luck to you.
