Everywhere I look, I'm reading posts from people who have had sepsis and nearly all state that they are worse off after sepsis. It just passed the nine week mark of my brush with death due to septic shock. I returned to work full time yesterday and returned to exercising this past weekend. The thing of it is, it seems my quality of life is actually BETTER than before the illness. I'm 44 y/o and have been a type 1 diabetic for nearly 25 years. The color in my feet and legs is better than it has been in years! I've been struggling with ED for a number of years. THAT'S gotten better!! Is there a reason for this or am I just a medical anomaly???
