I am experiencing a tremendous amount of stress right now and don't feel that the Zoloft is working anymore.
Sorry, I have not tried this one. I am currently on Prozac; however, I saw on Pristiq's website that they have a program where they pay half the cost whether you have insurance or not. Not sure how much that would be.
My doctor has me try the cheapest meds first. lol. I do not have insurance. So, Prozac is pretty inexpensive.
Do you have a psychiatrist?
I was on Lexapro for quite sometime and due to increase in stress factors in my life, my physician switched me over to Prestiq. I have had wonderful results with this medication. When the samples ran out is when I found out my insurance would not cover the medication. I applied for assistance directly through the drug company and was approved. I would recommend if you can not afford the medication and it is working for you to ask your physicain for the application for assistance for Prestiq. Will not hurt to try. Sandy
I had been prescribed Pristiq in hopes that it would help with my overall Anxiety & Depression, but to no avail! Of course, everyone's make up is different and it might very well work for you. The only AD thus far that has seemed to help-(& I've been on it for approx. 7 months now), is Celexa. Within the first 2 weeks, I could actually feel the anxiety lessen, and the depression seemed to have lifted soon after that. I do hope that you find an AD that helps you feel better. Best of luck to you ~
