So I'm suppose to take clomid to help with ovulation, I don't have insurance and it's pretty expensive. I was told to try and order it online because it would be cheaper. So I did but when I got the medicine it is an off brand called Ovamid 25, clomifene tablets. It's in a silver wrapping with red and blue line on the end. I've tried looking it up but can't fine much on it. So my question is has anyone else got this? Is it safe to take, or did I just waste money and get scammed? I haven't taken it and don't want to unless I know it's safe. Please help with anything you might know about this.
I suspect that you got it from a pharmacy not in the usa. When you do this, you get meds that have different names, because they call the same drug different things in different countries. I have gotten 2 meds from canadian and british pharmacies and they were the same thing as I got here. They just have different names. If someone was trying to counterfeit clomid, they'd say clomid. If its clomiphene then it should be the same thing.
The FDA recommends against the purchase of prescription medications online. Some web sites sell prescription and over-the-counter drugs that may not be safe to use and could put people's health at risk.
