I just recently seen my psychiatrist, for the first time Friday. The doctor had prescibed a medication called Clornazpan waffers, for my anxiety. I have never heard of this medication for anxiety before. Does anyone or rather has anyone heard of this medication?
It is Clonazepam, I take and it does work just fine for me, however we all react differently to medications.
Clonazepam is used in the treatment of panic disorder; bipolar disorder; seizure prevention; periodic limb movement disorder; sleep paralysis (and more), and belongs to the drug classes benzodiazepine anticonvulsants, benzodiazepines.

You mean the generic for klonopin clonazepam wafers. It's a very common anxiety med which is long lasting, but is a benzo's just like any drug. Follow the directions to the T and whatever do not stop taking it unless your doctor weans you off. I'm hypersensitive to a lot of meds and benzos are the only anxiety meds I can take. A lot of people are against them bc of the addiction rate to them. If you take them correctly it's not a problem.
Yes Klonopin is among the most prescribed medications for anxiety and panic disorders. It works quite well for many people. Be aware that if you use it regularly for a longer period of time, abrupt discontinuation of this medication can cause severe withdrawal symptoms that can result in death. If you later plan to stop taking this medication consult with your doctor.
