I am getting my first injection today and am so terrified. Maybe it is because I think it won't work and I will have a terrible side effect (like death, crazy huh?). The pain has been awful and I had to stop taking Sulfasalazine and Mobic to calm down my acid reflux (by the way I had some weird withdrawal effects that I had no idea would happen). I really do not like the idea of injecting myself either. Any feedback is appreciated.
Howdy Retired. I read about these meds. I was very impressed.
Pick and choose what applies to your situation.
Please stop worrying about "what could happen." You'll find yourself much stronger than you think. It is what it is, Retired. When we have to do something that we're apprehensive about, we may have a little panic. And I think thats a natural reaction.
Stay in touch with us. You won't be alone. Let us know how your doing. I had to give myself injections for headaches. From what I've read, it's going to be a wiz. However, You must talk to your doc. There's some miraculous friends on our site. They spend a great deal of time researching illnesses and medications. I'm sure you already know that.
I'm happy I have a friend like you. You're answers are fantastic.
Until we meet again may you have faith, hope and love and much strength,
