I had my first Genesight test done yesterday - it's supposed to give me a definite psych diagnosis, which my new doc thinks I need because I've had so many bad reactions to medications that are supposed to be helpful for people with Major Depression. She also did a pain management profile, adhd, and folic acid profile. I was curious if any of you drugs.com members have had one done, and what you thought of the results? Good or bad, I'm interested.
I had heard that it was up and coming, but hadn't heard about it being in use. It has to be helpful. Medicare is going to help with payment. It sounds like your dr is right out there with the docs current on care. I would be interested in knowing if it eventually helps you. Isn't it amazing what they can tell from our genes?
