I was wondering if anyone else's took these 2 together to help control seizures. I had bever heard of cymbalta being used for seizures. I know gabapentin is used to help control them but never heard of combining them to help control seizures. Anyone else ugh se this combination for seizures?
I've only used them seperately. I know cymbalta carries a warning for seizure or convulsion risk - especially if mixed with certain other prescriptions and supplements.
I do know it was recommended by a doctor I try the combo and I know a friend who did, but I personally didn't like cymbalta especially the coming off part and my friend was fine with the gabapentin but after he added cymbalta a couple months later we were at a restaurant and he went to get the car and by the time I got outside he had passed out and hit his head on a curb. His doctor began the weaning process immediately after and he's not had a similar incident. I think you just need to be careful and if you feel "off" speak up to your doctor.
