I seem to find that any imported or processed foods affect RLS. Has anyone else experienced this or know of specific foods that affect same?
Hi JBray. I have suffered with RLS for about 30 years now. I personally have not noticed that any processed foods make my symptoms worse, but I have noticed that when I drink wine or have any type of alcoholic beverage it does make things much worse that night. I would suggest that you start keeping a diary of what you eat and/or drink each day and then make a note of how your RLS symptoms were that night. Maybe you can spot a recurring pattern of the things that make it worse and then avoid those items. I wish you the best of luck!
Hi have had LED for 30 plus years, I've also been on different meds, Gabapentin wired me so bad I was pulling my hair out, Dr ordered Pramipexole generic for Mirapex, wonderful, I've never had so much relief and sleep... stay low on alcohol it really relaxes me then my legs kick in bad, just watch, home remedies to me are worthless, tried heat, the bar of soap, pickle juice, NO LUCK...
Good luck to u, keep me posted... Robyn
