Has anyone experienced a burning sensation in the tummy/gut and chest?
You may have peptic ulcer disease or a hiatal hernia. It should be checked out.
I was in my 30's when I noticed I was short of breath when walking. I went to doctor and I found out I was very anemic. It was from an occult bleeding ulcer. No pain!
Check it out and then change your lifestyle:
Don't eat for at least 2 hours before bed.
Sleep with extra pillows to prevent reflux up into your esophagus.
You can get Zantac OTC.
Avoid spicy and fried foods.
Don't drink a lot of liquids with your meal.
Observe your stool for color- if it's unusually dark it would be from stomach bleeding. If it appears bright red then it's coming from your bowel.
