My son is almost 8 months old. I am really nervous about taking this pill. I have used condoms since he's been born. My doctor recently recommended this pill. The side effects seem to be horrible and now I have to consider side effects that will effect him or his milk. Any experiences or feed back that anyone can provide would be very helpful!
Does anyone have any experience related to breastfeeding while taking orsythia?

Here is what the FDA says-Both the estrogens and progestins occurring in commercially available oral contraceptive formulations are excreted into human milk in very small amounts. The American Academy of Pediatrics considers use of oral contraceptive combinations to be compatible with breast-feeding despite rare reports of breast enlargement in the nursing infant and the possibility of a decrease in milk production and proteincontent.
The thing about any side effects, you notice anything you stop taking the pills.
