I have chronic tachycardia and have to have and EPS study and by reading what they do and the hazzards i'm scared to death, i would love to hear your experience.
Great to hear from you, but sorry to hear of your problem. The EPS study is very similar to a heart catherization which is very safe. The only pain you may feel is when they start the IV which is really not bad. They numb the site where they insert the electrodes and the actual procedure is painless. They'll give you a sedative before the procedure to help you relax. The thoughts of it all are far worse than what it is going to entail. Easy for me to say as I'm not the one having it, right? lol Here for ya.
Amber my girl! It is so good to hear from you. Have been wondering what you have been doing with yourself. Anyway, missed you & welcome back. To answer your question, Laurie has done a good job, but found this info out for you to read on the site. Hope this helps explain it some more...
