Hi, Manny here, again. First of all thanks for the quick response to my last question. I was wondering if anyone else has experienced a strange fluttering sensation, accompanied by a dull ache on the left side of the abdomen, right under the ribcage? I've been on Suboxone for almost 3 years, was on Methadone for 5 years before that and Lortabs for chronic back pain for about 3 years before that. I am undergoing an MRI procedure this morning and am worried that the pain is related to all the drugs I've taken over the years. Has anyone else had this happen to them and if so what was your diagnosis? I am extremely worried and haven't slept in days and my MRI is scheduled for ten this morning. Any help is greatly appreciated and would really ease my mind, regardless of the answer. Thanks and God bless, Manny.
I just wanted to ease your mind some. I don't have a very helpful answer, but I can tell you that I have been thinking that there is some sort of growth in my abdomen as well and has been giving me panic attacks. I totally understand not being able to sleep, constantly touching the area trying to self diagnose. What I have done about it is to try not to let myself go there and let the doctor handle it. I am waiting until my annual papsmear, since I am a woman, in November and let her do a full internal exam and I will probably get more answers then. Until then, I try not to let it bother me. I did talk to a nurse on the phone at my OBGYN's office about it as I was having trouble urinating and thought it might be all connected and she told me that I could possibly be horrilby constipated - from the pain pills I take - 4 perc 10's a day - and sometimes more when I blow it and go over. Anyway, so I bought some laxitives - Ducolax - and took them for about 3 nights in a row along with 3 stool softeners a night and it really did seem to help relieve a lot of the problem. Do you think this could be part of your problem? Just an idea. I don't know what the fluttering could be. Are you male or female? Are you sure you are not pregnant - if you are female... Seems like that would be one of the first things you would have checked if you are a female. I know I did and it was negative. Anyway, just try to hang in there and wait until the results. Let us know how you are doing okay?
i have no idea but sense switching to the strips from the pills i have had pain in my left side below my rib cage like at the top of my hip bone its aggravating and i no it is caused by the strips i dont no what it is but these strips have started me 2 taking less of a dose .i would like to no what this pain is and why suboxone strips causes it the pills do not cause this with me
