I would like to know if anyone has done CBT therpy for anxiety/mental health and how did you find it.
Yes, I have done CBT and EMDR. For me the CBT was talk therapy. A good therapist will help you work through your thought process. You can lean tools that may be helpful. It is individualized for each client and their issues, past and present. You have to feel safe and comfortable with your therapist. You gain so much more when you are honest and open. It has helped me.
I hope you find a compassionate and caring therapist if that is what you choose to do. :)
