I am getting frustrated with it, dr. Says only hang in there, it takes time. . .this has been going on since November. Reading the comments here everyone seems to be saying things like "It kind of helped BUT. . . ."
Is there anyone here that bupropion has really helped?

Gee -- if you have to take something else to counteract the bupropion, do you need it in the first place? Another week of this stuff and I think I will p*ss off everyone I live and work with.

Hi Trocarus,
I took Bubroprion for years and it was a very successful anti-D for me. Because it gets good results and has few side effects, it is widely prescribed.
That being said, if you're still not feeling ANY better, you might want to talk with your DR about dosage or the sustained release option. Good luck to you.

Hello Trocarus,
I took wellbutrin (bupropion) for many years all on its own, didn't need another medication to go along with it and I had much success with it. Since you haven't found relief by now I would suggest talking with your doctor as you may need an increase or possibly another medication to go along with the bupropion or a different antidepressant all together.
I hope you find relief soon,
pamee

Hello, from your comment above it sounds like you are no longer taking Wellbutrin. I have been taking it for 5 years plus. Recently went on holiday for 2 weeks and forgot to take my pills with me. So now almost 4 weeks later I have still not taken a pill but am feeling rather edgy and miserable so not sure if it is just mind over matter it not? How do you feel now that you have stopped?
I feel good now! It may be as you said with your mind. If you're still feeling uncomfortable you need to let your doctor know and possibly he can try you on something else. You need to feel good again.
