7.5 mg Tranxene T-Tabs seem to be available but I have been waiting 2 weeks for my prescription to be filled. The new manufacturer Recordati Rare Diseases is making it difficult for all pharmacies.
If you can get 7.5 why don't they give you enough for 2 at a time? I doubt the manufacturer set out to make things difficult. There is a distinct possibility that they have nothing to do with it. Have you talked to them? The distributors often just don't buy it. Pharmacies are at the mercy of their distributor.
Tranxene 15 mg is no longer manufactured. However Tranxene 7.5 & 3.2 (?) are still made for double the cost. Lundbeck company sold several meds to Ricordati a couple of years ago including Tranxene. Pharmacys use the CDC number to find drugs and under Ricordati a new CDC number was assigned to Tranxene. My rx for Tranxene is now $1,000 a month.
