I am 55 years old a smoker and I don't know what to do I'm sorry I can't answer your question I'm looking for answers myself good luck to you
Hi. I had minimal invasive 3 level fusion 12/6/17 for adult degenerative scoliosis. It advanced to 18degrees in 2; years. I just passed my 8 week mark and doing very well. Off pain meds for about 3 weeks. Driving. Not needing walker or cane. My incisions have healed well. My right leg is still week and my quad is numb from my groin to my knee with underlying nerve pain. I’m in my 3rd week of PT and my leg is getting stronger everyday. While the weakness is disappointing, I fully believe my surgery was a complete success. My pain and discomfort from before the surgery is gone. I can stand and not want to throw up. I was very active prior and up to the day of surgery. I believe that played a huge role in my recovery. I have zero regrets. I realize your post is a year old but if I can be of help to you or someone else I am more than happy to do so. I hope your recovery has gone well
