... recently. I know I need to start walking, but have fear of being outside alone. I would like to try Yoga too. Any other suggestions?
I do enough on the computer and office type work on my days off to keep my mind sharp, for the most part. Sometimes I wonder if it's working or not. lol
I work 32 hours per week, 4 eight hr. shifts. I don't feel much like exercising, even on my days off. Plus, we have a neighbor that is "out to get us" for some reason, ever since we moved in. I seriously think the guy is psychotic, as does everyone else who hears our stories.
At any rate, I am letting my anxiety stop me from doing physical things that could prove very helpful, such as walking, yoga, etc.
Today is my day off and I've been all alone which normally I enjoy, but not so much today. My honey will be home soon, I hope.
What state do you live in?
I think weather can place a significant role in how we feel too, now that I'm older.
Bethers3119, I hope this is one of your better days. My Mom lives 2 hours from me, and she kept telling me to get better so you can come home for Christmas. She is 83 and though she has had health problems none are chronic. It seems we live in a world where even those who love us do not understand our lives. My sons pick up my groceries, medications, and drive me to the doctor if he is not one of the close ones. I hate leaving the house: it is not fear like agoraphobia but it still keeps me at home. Try to make it to yoga. It is suppose to be very good for chronic pain. Maybe walking close to home if the roads are low traffic is good: I use to love it. But now I am too weak. And yes I know how vital it is to exercise, so give yoga a chance for now. I pray you find what is best for you.
