Anxiety and stress can certainly cause hair loss in some people. It does not happen to everyone. Hair loss typically occurs 2-4 months after the stress starts. The most common type of hair loss that comes from stress and anxiety is called telogen effluvium. Other types of hair loss are also possible. I'd recommend seeing your family doctor or dermatologist to determine if stress and anxiety is related to your hair loss or not.
