... doctor and he changed my med to celexa 40 Mg. This was around 5 weeks ago and I still feel nervous throughout the day is this normal or am I thinking about it and makes me feel this way? I don't understand
I think there has been some issues with Celexa in the FDA news lately. Ask about that. R u seeing a psychiatrist, if so ask for Klonopin, works great. If not, get to a shrink as soon as possible. Psych meds r nothing to fool around with, and u need someone who knows what's going on. Right now, since Klonopin works so well, why aren't u on it?
Most drugs only work so long and then you switch to something else. I agree with HippieChick. Go with something new. Be sure you see a psychiatrist to adjust your meds. They do a better job that way than other docs. Therapy helps with the panic attacks, too. I use Alprazolam temporarily. I suspect some things changed in your life recently and your system is in overdrive. Hope you can see someone real soon.
sometimes or shall i say very commonly we put ourselves into a panic attack. if the anxiety if affecting your everyday life or making you avoid certin places or people you need to notify your dr. i take xanax for panic attacks. mine come on so sudden i don't know what hit! it helps alot. i take a small dose and only when needed, i also take celexa 20mg at night.
I go to a family doc I don't have insurance so prolly cant afford the other. The paxil worked good for me now that I'm on celxa I feel nervous not all day but it comes in spells. And my mind seems to be cloudy sometimes. I know I'm stressed about work cause I really don't like my job I'm trying to find a new one. I'm just ready to feel normal again!!!
