Hi Blondie, I read your question a few days ago, and thought "I know what she's talking about" I also feel similer when I'm overly excited or overly nervous about something. What I personally thought was happening to me was a sudden spike in blood pressure, making it feel as if my eyes were bulging or rolling around in my head. Lol I'm also on Ativan and it does help with these types of feelings. So to answer your question, yes I can relate. Try some deep breaths, with eyes closed, before getting around people or groups that make you nervous. I will do this in front of a mirror and when I feel calm I say "ok, showtime!" And off I go. I hope some of this helps. Good luck to ya Luvie. Taylor
Taylor:
I re-read my post "What was thinking I said that I wasn't taking the Ativan," yes I am. Geesh. I am so glad there is somebody else that understands this to where that I can relate to. I guess I'm human afterall. Well I got my meds filled today, yay! I feel much, much better... a lot calmer.
It's good to know that I'm not alone.
