I dont know if anyone has ever experienced this but i find it nearly IMPOSSIBLE for the few docs i have seen to prescribe to me an anti-depressant!!! Maybe because all my docs are male and I am female?? I just find this odd. They wont prescribe a sleep aid either. It is mindboggling.
Hello knittenkitten. I might suggest is confront, ask your doctor to perscribe you an antidepressant and if she/he refuses, ask to the reason why. Regards, pledge
You need to go to a phyc. Doctor's don't like to. I am on Ativan for anxiety and panic. I have been on it for year's. I worked good. I built up a tolerance and i am going to try to tapper off soon. You just need a small dose for anxiety.
My Doc is male and he will do antidepressant's. Find another Doc or phyc. Doc..
Psych doctors are more known for this
What type of doctors are you seeing ? Try going to medication management . They will evaluate you and give you a prescription if needed
