I am hoping to get pregnant in the future and I cannot get off my Lexapro. I tried once before and it did not go well at all. It took me months to feel better. Has anyone taken Lexapro during pregnancy and if so, did you have any complications? Was there any harm to the baby?
Lexapro is category C which means the dr has weigh the risks over the benefit to the mother. Zoloft is a little bit safer. This is something you have to discuss with your gyne before you get pregnant.
I would say yes ONLY if the OBGYN you intend to use through your pregnancy approves. Otherwise, taking a chance.
