Was that your starting dose? I took mine in the morning because it gave me an uplifted feeling... like clear thinking... that helped me get normal daily activities done - like working, for instance. Did your doctor give you any samples of 30s so you could work your way up? Just curious as most people I know started on 30s (including myself) then worked my way up after a few weeks.

Generally it's ok to take it anytime. Take it at the same time each day is best so then you have the same consistent amount in your system. If the meds give you energy take it in the morning or lunchtime. It the meds make you sleepy take it in the night or bedtime. Also if any pesky side effects bother you try night time. Then you'll sleep through it and not notice. Often times when you wake up 8 hrs later a smaller supply is in your body so pesky side effects might be gone. So as you see it really depends on a lot.
Hi Mike! I hope the Cymbalta helps you.I take it for depression, anxiety, and pain. I have found the morning to be the best time for me as it seems to give me energy.I think jonNOVA gave you a pretty good analysis of morning vs evening. It really does depend on how your body reacts to the medication. Unfortunately, as with a lot of medication, it is mostly trial and error.
Have you tried any kind of self hypnosis/meditation? I have an older iPhone, but was able to find free apps that are actually pretty good. They help me relax which helps the anxiety. The more I use the apps, the quicker I can calm down. I don't know if I can suggest specific free apps, but if I'm allowed, I'll be happy to let you know my favorite :)
